The Podcast Partner Manager will lead relationships with key partners across ANZ.
The role, sitting within our Australian podcast team, will primarily be working with top-tier creators and publishers to drive strategic partnerships and ensure Spotify is prioritised as a distribution platform and partners have access to the right creation and monetisation tools for their needs.
The right candidate will be passionate about podcast content, capable of driving high-value strategic partnerships and enjoy working in fast-paced environments.
What You'll Do
- Be an expert across Spotify’s suite of creator and monetisation tools, able to match the right product to the partner's need and opportunity in ANZ market
- Drive strategic partnerships with key creators and partners
- Support the commercial needs of strategic partners with the ability to understand analytics and be solutions-focused
- Be the point person for all established partners in [market], responsible for finding the right offering to support them with audience growth and monetisation
- Stay across local audiences and industry trends to ensure we are on the front foot and proactive
- Explore opportunities to maximise value from partnerships by collaborating with teams across Spotify, including Operations, Programming, Marketing and Analytics
- Keep partners informed on the latest offerings from Spotify and share industry best practices
Who You Are
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn about podcast distribution, advertising models, and data
- 3+ years of experience with a background in content partnerships and account management in ANZ market is preferred
- You’re a go-getter who can make things happen and lead through influence
- Deep familiarity with the Australian podcast and long-form video content is essential, and a strong relationship within the local podcast industry is preferred
- Ability to turn data-backed insights into actionable partnership strategies
- Strong communication, organisational, and presentation skills, ideally including proficiency in the Google suite of programs
- Ability to build relationships with multiple functions at all levels of the organisation and industry
Where You'll Be
- This role will be based in Sydney
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home
