You will be part of the Chief Technology Office which ensures that CommBank has a world-class engineering capability and is at the forefront of technology, using innovative and emerging technology to help our customers and support our Group Strategy. We work hard to ensure that best practice, whether inside CommBank or outside in the broader technology ecosystem, is discovered, sheltered, nurtured, and spread to wherever else it can drive the most benefit for the Group and our customers.
The successful applicant will join a DevSecOps team tasked with delivering:

Source code management tooling
-
Artefact management tooling
-
Third party and bespoke components providing adjunct functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Build, install, configure, test, monitor, support and document cloud-based, third-party, and/or custom-built systems, technologies and features.
-
Build, configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines
-
Build, configure and maintain infrastructure environments (cloud and on-premises)
-
Liaise with vendors and service providers for external support and system enhancements.
-
Participate in after-hours on-call support
-
Operate in agile framework using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Experience:
-
Experience as a platform or DevOps engineer
-
Experience with one or more programming languages and tools such as Jira, GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, Snyk, Playwright, and Blazemeter.

Experience with CICD tools like GitHub Actions, TeamCity
-
Cloud: Familiarity with public cloud engineering, preferably AWS
-
Applying security best practices from a systems delivery perspective
-
Applying CI/CD principles and practices
-
Implementing infrastructure as code (e.g. YAML)
Technical Skills :
-
*Nix operating systems (e.g. Linux)

Cloud hosting platforms (e.g. AWS)

Git-based source/version control systems (e.g. GitHub Cloud, GitHub On prem Enterprise)

Continuous integration/delivery tooling (e.g. TeamCity, GitHub Actions)

Scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Shell, or similar)

Containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker)

Artefact management tooling (e.g. Artifactory) is desirable
