Job Description
As a Platform Engineer, we define standards and build tools that help developers and DevOps engineers use our cloud environment comfortably and efficiently. Our international team provides them with everything they need to go from idea to implementation in the shortest possible time.
You will join our newly created Cloud Networking team, a key team that manages the entire AWS Networking solution for our 700+ AWS accounts.
Our daily missions:
• You contribute to the design, development and adoption of AWS standards and accounts used for the strategic delivery of new products.
• You will participate in the design and support of automation projects within the team, in coordination with security, architects and devops.
• You will maintain the various tools necessary for the development of new products within the group (Datadog, CircleCi)
• You will also have to ensure the optimization of the existing system both from a performance and cost point of view. #finops
Qualifications
About you:
- Solid knowledge in the different AWS resources as well as in Cloud architectures (TransitGW, AWS Organization, Controle Tower, NACLs, Api Gateways, Serverless),
- Demonstrated experience producing large scale AWS and IaC tools such as Terraform,
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing best practices and standards,
- Practical experience in at least one programming language,
- Good understanding of the concepts behind CI/CD and their benefits,
- Experience with monitoring and testing tools, ideally Datadog,
- Understanding of using version control systems for collaborative work with multiple contributors.
- English written, read and spoken!
