Planning & Supply Chain Supervisor, ANZ (Based in Wacol, Brisbane)
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Global Operations team as a Planning & Supply Chain Supervisor based in Wacol, Brisbane (Immediate Hire).
The Planning & Supply Chain Supervisor reports to the Site Manager and is responsible for facilitating the accurate and timely Production requirements for SFS Wacol to ensure efficient and cost-effective DIFOT.
You will also coordinate the Supply chain activities at the Wacol site with Regional & Global teams to ensure Wacol site efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
This role will have the following accountabilities:

Organize optimal workflow by reviewing SFS Demand and preparing manufacturing plans for periodic/monthly schedules that meet material availability and customer order lead time requirements.

Create a Production Plan/Schedule to meet customer DIFOT in-spec requirements – eg Allergens, Religious.

Maintain SAP to schedule production, confirmations, despatch goods, monitor stock levels, maintain customer/blend requirements and produce end-of-month reports.

Identify issues in efficiency (Forecasting, Supply Chain, Production, Quality) and pursue alternate options that offer practical improvements to synergies, workflows, and efficiencies across Internal, Regional, and Global activities for Wacol.

Maintains workflow by monitoring process steps, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

Completes production plan by scheduling efficiently; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems;

Assists with the Wacol continuous improvement objective by providing manufacturing information -compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.

Creates/Develops and revises systems, records and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements implementing change.

Resolves problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; and recommending action.

Assists with the organization and scheduling of site maintenance with the production schedule in mind.

Use knowledge and experience to avoid/anticipate and deal with problems – Supply Chain, Planning, Production.

Review and analyse demand data within the APO system to ensure changes are highlighted and verified. Run macros within the APO system to ensure correct demand (OMP) is uploaded to the SAP system.

Interact with the ANZ/APAC S&OP team to ensure Demand planning is accurate and covers customer demand.

Undertake the responsibilities as an Element Owner within the J2E program, and journey to Excellence.

Support the other site Element Owners within the J2E journey.

Provide support to the site Quality team with the site Food Safety plan and external regulatory requirements.

Coverage support during the Leave absences of the roles of Scheduling Coordinator, Purchasing Officer and CS-Logistics Coordinator.
EHSQS

Perform, Maintain and improve the EHSQS standard and requirements as set by the Company. Participate in the company’s EHSQS program including training, audit etc
About You
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

5+ years of experience in a food processing environment in a supply/planning-related role.

Organize optimal workflow by preparing manufacturing schedules that meet material availability and customer order lead time requirements.

Strong SAP/MRP/Resource Planning /Power BI and Microsoft programs competencies.
-
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong in organising, prioritising, problem-solving and decision-making.

Knowledge of HACCP/GMP – Allergens
-
Possess a positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
