Job Description
TESP designs, develops, qualifies and manufactures a variety of small, highly reliable products, which in many cases are intended to operate explosive devices such as EEDs (Electro-Explosive Devices), EBWs (Exploding BridgeWires), EFIs (Exploding Foil Initiators), and other similar devices. Product applications include Aircrew Safety, Launch and Tactical Vehicles, and Energetic Devices.

TESP is an operating unit of Teledyne Technologies. TESP is located in Chatsworth, California, and has been manufacturing products since 1986.
Responsibilities
-
Develops realistic, detailed production schedules and conducts critical path analyses to support program planning and continuing performance evaluation.

Ensures timely preparation and submission of status and progress reports and related data required. Supports management and customer reviews as requested by the program manager.

Develops reports and techniques to monitor production program schedule variances against the plan and current forecasts.

Examines material requirements against MRP recommendations for scheduled delivery to meet Kit release dates.

Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.

Requisitions material to establish sequential delivery dates to departments, manufacturing order kit needs according to job order priorities and material availability.

Compiles, maintains and analyzes a monthly computerized report of material inventory for raw material, work in progress and finished goods including excess and obsolete material reports with recommendations and actions to be taken to meet established inventory turns goals.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field preferred

Minimum 4 years previous experience as a Scheduler in a Manufacturing environment

Aerospace/Defense industry knowledge preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficient use of MS Excel (macros, vlookups, pivot tables, charts/graphs)

Presentations to internal/external customers

Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully

Salary Range:
$74,800.00-$99,880.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
