At Plaid, our sales team combines deep product and industry expertise with a commitment to expanding Plaid's reach to an ever-growing range of businesses.
As a New Business Associate Intern, you'll play a vital role in helping us realize this vision. During your internship, you'll engage with top prospective customers and learn to communicate Plaid's value effectively to organizations at all stages and sizes. You'll also gain firsthand experience by shadowing the full sales cycle and exploring how various teams at Plaid work together to create a seamless customer experience.
This internship will take place in either our New York City or San Francisco office. Please be aware that any potential full-time opportunities following the internship may be located in San Francisco, New York City, or Raleigh, based on Plaid's discretion.
Responsibilities

Learn about the sales funnel from inbound lead and outbound campaigns through to deal closure and contract negotiation

Identifying key decision makers within prospective accounts to map out organizational structure and Plaid integration opportunities

Write email communication for corresponding marketing campaigns to generate new sales prospects

Participate in simulations of customer qualifying calls. Simulations will prepare you to lead calls with executive-level prospects
Qualifications

Demonstrated interest working with customers and explaining technical processes.

Interest in client facing career, the financial services industry, and a high degree of intellectual curiosity.

Excitement to work in a high-growth environment and to help build processes and tools as needed

Desire to get (more) technical and the ability to learn the ins and outs of Plaid's APIs

Graduating in December 2025 or Spring 2026
