The Placement Specialist assists with analyzing and marketing accounts, maintaining relationships with insurance company partners, and following market insights/trends to help drive organic growth and improve retention. This individual will be an internal resource and client facing.
Principal Responsibilities:

Driving organic growth by quoting new accounts and delivering those results to prospective clients.

Responsible for the execution of marketing strategy and placement for all assigned accounts.

Responsible for assisting in the sales process and facilitating the onboarding of prospective and new PRM Clients.

Assisting in auditing and compliance of marketing information.
-
Analyzing client needs and requirements to tailor insurance programs and solutions best suited for their risk profiles.

Assists in the mentoring, coaching, and training for the PRM and Placement team.

Coordinates service delivery on assigned accounts including developing initial placement and renewal strategy.

Cultivates strong relationships with insurance company partners, responsible for knowing carrier requirements and attributes, and in-depth knowledge of insurance agency partners and underwriting requirements.

Maintain in depth knowledge of current and market trends.

Help manage and maintain sales pipeline including forecasting.

Technical expert and proficient at moving prospects through the onboarding process.

Looks for opportunities to improve the firm, Business Segment and processes. Brings issues and discrepancies to the attention of appropriate leadership.

Serves as a mentor to colleagues as requested.

Completes special projects as assigned.
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

Certification(s): None required; None preferred

License(s): Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment required; Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment preferred.

Capable of cultivating strong relationships with insurance company partners, including key insurance markets and insurance company partner representatives

Detail oriented and able to analyze various plans to provide the appropriate recommendations for clients and prospects.

Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with all firm business segments.

Communicates well and effectively, demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with a heavy emphasis on Excel.

Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary. Experience with EPIC and Salesforce is a plus.
