G2IT is seeking a PHP and JavaScript developer.
The position is responsible for providing development and ongoing maintenance and support of complex PHP and JavaScript based applications and developing enhancements to applications supported for our clients. Supporting our client the changes are being made are to enhance the stability and functionality of these systems. The resource is integral to developing and maintaining the applications, automated processes, streamlining critical business processes, data integrity, and securing the applications. The resource will perform under the direction of senior developer(s) and functional client personnel. As a developer, you will participate in a variety of analytical assignments that provide for the enhancement, integration, maintenance, and implementation of projects.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Demonstrated strong JavaScript experience and knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, especially Node.JS, Angular and React
- Demonstrated development in a Service-oriented architecture / REST APIs
- Knowledge of and experience with databases Oracle and/or PostgreSQL is a plus
- Experience developing using containers/app containerization (Docker/Docker Hub, AWS (ECS/EKS), and/or Kubernetes), with AWS experience as a plus.
- Knowledge of source control tools such as GIT
- Experience or Knowledge working in environments utilizing CI/CD pipelines an workflows with GitHub, Jenkins and Maven.
- Experience managing and developing applications using content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager / Drupal) is preferred.
- Experience working on large agile projects.
- 2+ years developing complex systems using PHP, JavaScript and the frameworks identified above.
- 2+ years developing complex cloud, CI/CD, and applications that access CMSs.
- BA/BS Degree or 4 additional years of experience.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have a Public Trust clearance, at a minimum.
Salary: $90k-$102k depending on experience
