About this Position
The Training Designer is responsible for planning and delivering a professional, organized, and educational training program for pre-licensing Instructors. The Training Designer will work in conjunction with Curriculum Development Manager to assess, develop and implement e-learning and in person courses to improve coaches knowledge base and instructional skill.
Candidates must reside in the Metro Atlanta Area to be considered.
Hybrid Role Requires 2 Days in our Duluth Office Tues / Wednesday
Salary Range: $70 - $80K
Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITES
- Planning, Creating and Delivering Annual Training to all Instructors (Coaches)
- Responsible for enhancing presentation skills of PFSU instructors, supplement training efforts of Regional Training Coordinators, and the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional materials to support PFSU instruction.
- Develop materials using a variety of media including text documents, manuals, job aids, web-based training (WBT), and electronic performance support.
- Implement training through instructor-led classes and provide assistance to Training Coordinators with their training requests.
- Evaluate instructor performance and curriculum requirements.
- Conduct the Train-the-Trainer course for all new and experienced Instructors.
- Coordinate and provide agenda input for Home Office training meetings.
- Maintain training database and forms to track instructor performance and trainings
- Prepare instructional materials, how-to-guides, and other supporting documents to communicate content and technical information
- Travel required nights and weekend in order to provide training to existing and newly hired instructors and participate in Regional Training Meetings and Field Leadership Meetings.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- 4-year College degree in Education, Adult Education, Business, or related field
- At least4 years’ experience in current adult education
- 3 years of knowledge of practical instructor experience in the life insurance, securities, and/or the financial industries,
- Three years’ experience as professional Trainer with proficiency and experience in all levels of Microsoft products (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), and web-based training programs
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products (Photoshop, Adobe Audition, Adobe Premier Pro), and editing software is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management and personnel
- Ability to work on several tasks concurrently
- Training needs analysis background, a plus
- Proficiency in reading and writing Spanish language is a plus
