Job Description Summary:
Provision of patient care through OB/GYN ultrasound and Doppler Imaging. Under general supervision, performs routine and targeted sonograms, fetal echocardiograms and CW Doppler imaging studies. Assists in the performance of Level II and transvaginal sonographic studies and fetal/maternal diagnostic procedures.
Responsibilities And Duties:
50%
Performs routine OB/GYN sonograms includes Level I, II, BPP, Transvaginal l and reviews studies and reports with Perinatologist.
20%
Assist physician in fetal/maternal diagnostic procedures.
10%
Assists in resident teaching in ultrasound.
5%
Data entry of obstetrical ultrasound reports.
5%
Performs Doppler Imaging and fetal echocardiograms.
5%
Organizes activities to assure conformity to established policies and procedures and standards of quality care.
5%
Maintain and oversee satellite ultrasound machine on L&D.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School or GED (Required)ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Certification - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography

ARDMS registry- OB/ GYN preferred. Must receive OB/GYN ARDMS certification within 1 year of hire. Ideal candidate has two years’ experience in OB/GYN ultrasonography, PW Doppler Imaging, and fetal echocardiography
