ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about Waystar and the healthcare payments industry. The ideal candidate will be looking to enhance their career and expand their skill set. This unique experience will provide insight into a dynamic ever-changing and evolving industry, coupled with the opportunity to join a great company like Waystar.
As part of this internship experience, you will expand on your professional development skills as well as gain first-hand knowledge of a niche within the healthcare industry. Interns will assist the company with a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, learning about the healthcare revenue management cycle, capturing data for our clients, reporting and insights and assisting across teams on various projects.
Intern Responsibilities
Provide support on upcoming marketing campaigns and assist with managing the marketing calendar including project management of deadlines
Help brainstorm ideas for out-of-the-box marketing ideas, including researching industry and audience insights to uncover new advertising and partnership opportunities
Perform ad hoc but repeatable duties, such as pulling reports, compiling marketing updates, and managing content and advertising trackers.

  • Thinking creatively, while ensuring that their ideas are targeted toward driving leads and bookings.  

  • Be exposed to various activities that marketing performs as part of their role.  

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Do you fit our team? 

  • Junior or Senior 

  • 3.2 or above GPA 

  • Actively involved on campus and/or community 

  • Majors/Minors: Open 

  • Interest in healthcare and/or technology 

  • Curiosity to go deeper into the projects given 

  • Ability to adapt and pivot with competing priorities and/or deadlines  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) 

  • Experience with Google Analytics a plus. 

Interview process:  

  • 30-minute virtual interview with TA and Manager/Buddy
