The Performance Marketing Copywriting manager will be responsible for developing content to support our ad and demand generation efforts. You will collaborate with the performance marketing team to create compelling messaging that drives leads, conversions, and revenue. Your expertise in writing for performance-focused campaigns will directly contribute to the success of our paid media, email marketing, and other lead generation initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Copywriting Skills:

  • Crafting compelling ad headlines and copy for various platforms (Email campaigns, Google Ads, social media, etc.)

  • Writing persuasive email copy optimized for open rates and click-through rates.

  • Creating high-converting landing page copy.

  • A/B testing and optimizing copy based on performance data.

  • Adapting tone and style to match brand guidelines and target audiences.

Team management:

  • Manage a team that runs campaign platforms including email, paid social, SEM, PPC, and others.

  • Ensure team productivity and effectiveness through each campaign channel for messaging, audiences, and CTAs.

Marketing Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing strategies and funnels.

  • Experience with email, SEM pay-per-click, display, and paid social advertising.

  • Knowledge of SEO principles and their application in marketing copy.

  • Expertise in the customer journey and lifecycle stages in digital marketing.

Analytical Abilities:

  • Ability to interpret campaign data and analytics to inform copy improvements.

  • Understanding key performance indicators (KPIs) like CTR, CVR, and ROI.

Creative Problem-Solving:

  • Developing creative solutions to boost campaign engagement and performance.

  • Collaborating with designers and marketing teams to align visuals with messaging.

  • Testing and iterating on creative concepts to maximize effectiveness.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with marketing platforms including CRMs, email, SEM, SEO, and paid social.

  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities.

  • Adaptability to work across diverse industries and audience segments.

  • Detail-oriented with a knack for proofreading and editing.

  • Excellent time management to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a healthcare copywriter with a focus on performance marketing or demand generation.

  •  BA /BS degree or equivalent in Marketing, Public Relations Communications, or a related major from an accredited college/university.

  • Experience writing ads and demand generation copy for healthcare tech is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High energy, proactive, creative, sociable, and self-motivated.

  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
