About the Role:
Gusto is growing our People Technology team and looking for a dynamic People Technology Lead Analyst! We need a superstar who is able to understand and support functional people technology. You'll deliver scalable solutions leveraging people technologies in partnership with People, Finance, and Business teams.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Be a technology strategist, partnering with stakeholders and taking ownership of the roadmap and products they use to reduce inefficiencies and support Gusto as we scale.
- Manage projects and partner closely with members of the cross-functional teams to roll out new systems or reduce inefficiencies in our current processes.
- Own all aspects of people technology, including configuration, testing of system changes, report writing, system upgrades and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
- Maintain Workday core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent and Payroll modules
- Partner with other Business Technology teams to create, implement, and monitor integrations; making sure integrations run successfully and resolving issues
- Build and maintain effective Gustie experiences using People Technology
- Establish partnerships with third party vendors to ensure effective service delivery
- Communicate and manage the design, build and launch strategies of new tools and systems.
Here’s what we're looking for:
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst supporting People organizations. Bonus points for Recruiting and Talent Experience support.
- 3+ years of experience administering people technologies (preferably Workday, Greenhouse, Lattice, OKTA or similar cloud-based platforms.
- Technology strategist that influences the products and roadmap of the teams they support as they scale.
- Trusted partner who can wear the many hats (business analyst, project manager, technologist, etc.) required to guide teams through people, process and technology enhancements.
- Builder that loves to architect, design, innovate and optimize tools, systems and processes.
- Positive problem solver who loves the challenge of advancing customer service beyond the status quo.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across many different operating teams
- Top-notch technical and software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with quality assurance testing and related scripting and bug reporting procedures
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $90,000-121,000 in Denver & most remote locations, and $113,000-147,000 for San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.
Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.
When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
