About the role

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify solutions that deliver a smooth user experience aligned to operational requirements

  • Provide support and troubleshooting for Workday HCM issues and recommend solutions utilising the latest functionality and features

  • Proactively identify optimisation opportunities that align with strategic priorities

  • Prepare and maintain business requirement documentation, functional specifications and change request information

  • Partner with IT to ensure technical solutions are delivered in alignment with the functional requirements

  • Proactively prioritise initiatives based on business needs and requirements

  • Engage with People Department stakeholders to ensure solutions are appropriately tested and accepted before deployment

About you

  • People Technology: Proven experience with Workday HCM optimisation initiatives, preferably within the Financial Services or Government sectors

  • Process Analysis:  Experienced in the creation of process maps and requirements documentation

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated analytical ability to troubleshoot system issues and recommend innovative solutions.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to translate technical specifications and problems into actionable and meaningful insights for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholder groups

  • Customer Focus: Experienced in customer centric design and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Continuous Learning: A proactive approach to staying informed about the latest HR technology trends and updates.

  • Previous experience with Confluence and Jira
