At Future US, we know our People are the heartbeat of our organization. And we take that seriously in People & Culture (P&C) because we’re pretty lucky to support that! We are excited to add a People Operations Generalist to our New York team. 

 You will provide efficient P&C support while being the first contact, in a generalist capacity, for all employee HR-related questions. You will manage these inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Excited to hear what you’ll do? Here’s what you can expect: 

  • Ticketing System: Serve as the first contact for general queries through the People Ticketing system. Respond promptly and professionally with clear, accurate information. Escalate issues as needed and ensure users are informed of the next steps. Maintain a courteous tone, follow up, and close tickets once resolved
  • Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, complete new hire onboarding meetings.
  • Benefits Administration: Support employee benefits questions, support oversight of benefit plans, and support ongoing benefit discussions
  • Employee Relations: be first contact for employee relations issues, advise management on best practices while administering P&C policies and procedures, and escalating where required
  • HRIS Administration/Data Management: Maintain employee information, employee files, the recruitment system and documentation. Keep the system of record up-to-date and 100% accurate by administering changes and generating reports. Verify correct information with 3rd party providers. 
  • Performance Management: Help promote and administer company performance management process, provide support for policy interpretations, and support managers and employees throughout the process
  • Recruiting: You will also assist with recruiting efforts, supporting the business in sourcing and delivering talent for important roles.
  • Compliance, Safety and Training: Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, maintain employee files, enforce safety policies and training programs, and deliver training as needed
  • Payroll: Collaborate with the People and Payroll Generalist to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for US and Canada employees. Provide support as needed and actively participate in cross-training to develop a thorough understanding of payroll systems and processes.
