Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support Cushman & Wakefield's People Function teams by designing and developing actionable, visually compelling reports and dashboards. The primary goal of this role is to enable business leaders to make timely, data-driven decisions, particularly around HR-focused metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, data modeling, data transformation and data analysis.
As a key member of the People Data Analytics team, you will work collaboratively to translate complex business requirements into effective reporting solutions that ensure data quality and enhance decision-making.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Understand Operations: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Cushman & Wakefield’s global and functional operations to tailor reports and dashboards that meet business needs.
• Requirements Gathering: Collect and analyze necessary project requirements from key stakeholders to develop effective reporting solutions.
• Design and Develop Reports/Dashboards: Create, test, publish, and maintain Power BI models, reports, and dashboards that convey critical HR data in an engaging and user-friendly manner.
• Data Visualization: Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to present information in a logical, visually pleasing, and audience-friendly format that drives effective decision-making.
• Insight Development: Generate actionable insights from data to assist leaders in making informed decisions.
• Data Quality Assurance: Employ best practices in data development and testing to ensure the integrity of reports and dashboards. Perform regular audits to maintain solution quality.
• Standardize Reporting: Implement best practices to create a common visual language for all data users and sources.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to enhance and streamline reporting processes and contribute to business outcomes.
• Project Management: Adhere to project management processes to ensure the successful execution of reporting projects.
• Data Transformation: An understanding of common data transformation principles and how to apply them.
• Platform Maintenance: Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of the data analytics platform to ensure optimal functionality.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of ongoing and completed projects, including the creation and management of a Data Catalog.
• Team Support: Offer technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as needed or requested.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI and Power BI Services online.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, DAX, and Power Query (M).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with BI tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, or Workday Prism Analytics is a plus.
• Educations:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics), or a combination of equivalent education and experience in data analysis or a related role with 3 Years of experience
  • OR, Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics), or a combination of equivalent education and experience in data analysis or a related role with less than 3 Years of experience
• Certifications (Desired):
  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analytics or Power Platform Certifications.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous situations and take ownership of projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when explaining complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading group discussions and handling requests for information.
  • Familiarity with HR data and human resource reporting is preferred.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $59,500.00 - $70,000.00
