In this position, you are a key sparring partner for management and provide expert advice to the HR team. You contribute to all facets of HR within our international, publicly traded organization. We believe that our success is driven by our people. Our HR department encompasses a wide range of functions, including Recruitment, Case Management, Back Office, and Payroll.
As a People & Culture Partner, you are not only a link between management and employees but also a driving force behind our HR initiatives. You will have the opportunity to lead projects in various HR areas, such as Engagement, Performance Management, and various HR Modernization projects with a strong focus on further integration with Stora Enso. You will work closely with different teams to strengthen our company culture and ensure that De Jong Verpakking by Stora Enso remains an inclusive and inspiring workplace.
Other responsibilities include:
- Being the first point of contact for all HR-related activities for the staff departments and Supply Chain within De Jong Verpakking by Stora Enso as well as another subsidiary within BU Western Europe.
- Acting as a critical sparring partner for management, providing concrete advice on policy issues, applications, and implementation;
- Coordinating and executing various HR activities, and actively participating in development and improvement projects within the HR team and your area of focus;
- Contributing to organizational development by promoting core values of respect, collaboration, and ambition, and encouraging desired behavior;
- Providing management with coaching and guidance on various personnel issues, including intake and outflow, assessments, performance, and training;
- Being able to initiate and guide projects and changes;
- In this role, you report to the People & Culture Director Netherlands.
What are we looking for?
- A completed Bachelor's degree in HRM or Business Administration;
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a dynamic environment;
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English;
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to prioritize.
