About the role:
The People Advisor plays a key role in shaping and delivering our people strategy to support business success. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to business leaders, offering proactive, strategic, and operational HR support in a collaborative and fast-paced digital environment.
This position is ideal for an HR professional with a strong problem-solving approach, a proven track record of delivering results, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while adapting to changing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering & Employee Relations
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and managers, gaining deep insights into their teams’ challenges and opportunities.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, grievances, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and compliant processes.
- Advise and coach managers on HR best practices, ensuring alignment with local labor laws and company policies.
- Manage the probation review process, offering support and advice to both managers and employees.
HR Policies & Compliance
- Regularly review, develop, and implement updates to HR policies and procedures, particularly in benefits and employee relations.
- Ensure proper interpretation and application of local employment laws, keeping both employees and management informed.
Talent Management & Employee Experience
- Continuously seek improvements in the employee life cycle, with a focus on talent retention, performance management, development, and exit strategies.
- Support and implement talent management initiatives in collaboration with the Learning & Talent team.
- Deliver training and workshops to equip managers with leadership and HR best practices.
HR Data & Insights
- Analyze key HR metrics and people data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and enhance employee experience.
- Leverage insights to develop data-driven solutions for workforce planning, engagement, and retention.
HR Projects & Change Management
- Lead and support global HR projects, including wellbeing initiatives, reward programs, and diversity & inclusion strategies.
- Drive change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions while keeping stakeholders engaged.
- Introduce innovative HR tools, practices, and industry trends to enhance the employee experience.
Stakeholder Engagement & External Networking
- Build strong external relationships with HR peers, industry groups, and competitors to stay ahead of market trends.
- Actively contribute to achieving our HR vision and organizational goals.
Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Must be a graduate of BS Psychology, Human Resources, or any related field. A certificate relevant to HR is desirable.
- HR Generalist experience with a proven track record of delivering HR solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Credible and influential communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage at all levels.
- Expertise in employee relations, including handling grievances, performance issues, and disciplinary cases.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and their application in a shared services or global environment.
- Tech-savvy with experience using HR systems and digital tools to enhance efficiency.
- High level of confidentiality, sensitivity, and diplomacy in handling HR matters.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to find creative solutions to complex HR challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Suite for HR analytics and reporting.
- Collaborative and inclusive approach, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- A proactive, "can-do" attitude, with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Experience in APAC HR practices or multi-regional HR exposure.
- Familiarity with Workday or other HRIS systems.
