About this role:
Our dynamic global People team are based across Americas, EMEA and APAC. We are focused on balancing the needs of the employee and the business, by building strong relationships with employees and managers, and working together to achieve business goals.
We are looking for an experienced People Administrator to join our friendly and collaborative HR team. The role will be based in our Cambridge HQ, supporting the team with day to day operations and ensuring smooth and efficient business processes. This role is hybrid working 3 days from the office.
In this role you'll be the first port of call for day to day HR queries surrounding policy and process, via the HR ticketing system. You'll be escalating any ER cases and complex matters to the Advisors in the team and monitoring and recording absences across EMEA and informing the people advisors of any trends or concerns. In this varied role you'll also be:
- Using the HR information systems (Workday) to access, input, and compile data,
- Upkeeping our HR Databases, including regular data cleanse of electronic and physical files to ensure GDPR compliance,
- Drafting relevant correspondence and documentation (e.g. Addendums, Probationary, Performance, Termination letters etc),
- Supporting the payroll team in collating/checking monthly payroll data, proving accurate information,
- Being the main point of call and managing documentation for references, including employment, banking, visa, and travel,
- Assisting in taking notes during employee relation meetings,
- Supporting with maternity/paternity discussions, ensuring the process is administered,
- Assisting with flexible working applications.
What experience do I need:
We are seeking an individual with proven experience in HR administration or related role. You must come with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness. In this role you'll need to be able to work well under pressure with good time management and organisational skills. You'll come with strong knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn new technical systems. You may also have:
- Experience working across multiple European countries,
- Experience using Workday or an HRIS.
This individual may be qualified, or interested in working towards CIPD Lv 3.
