To support Strategic and Corporate Planning activities
Role and Responsibilities:
- To drive and work closely with other cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives and propose the necessary critical action needed to ensure that all initiatives put in place are being implemented effectively and efficiently.
- To carry out market research and provide updated info on market intelligence to assist on decision making. Provide insights on market and industry trending as well as potential outlook and opportunities.
- To monitor the progress and ensure the delivery of strategic project as agreed in the overall company Strategic KPI .
- To provide assistance on CEO/CFO related matters including presentation slide preparation.
- Drive and coordinate the discussion and preparation of yearly business plan with the respective stakeholders.
- Liaison of ESG and VBiT related matters for Performance Management, Strategic & Corporate Planning department. Provide input and support in this area where relevant.
- Risk management, compliance and control.
Qualification and Experience :
- Minimum degree level, preferably in Finance and Business studies, with minimum results of Second Class Upper, CGPA of 3.0 or their equivalent. For Finance professionals applying, the expectation would be for the candidate to hold professional qualification from ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, MICPA or their equivalent.
- Minimum 5-year experience in strategic and corporate planning, including managerial level, with demonstrated ability to lead a team of subordinates. Priority will be given to candidates with insurance and/or Takaful experience who are fluent with local statutory guidelines and financial reporting standards.
