The role plays a critical role in terms of Regional financial reporting (Quarterly European Embedded Value Reporting, Business Planning, Annual Incentive Bonus Recommendation). The role holder work within the EEV team to ensure reporting requirements are fulfilled with accuracy within the given timeframe.
Key accountabilities:
- Request asset and perform update of bond portfolio for PCA to provide fund earning rates (FER). Derive RDRs.
- Plan and Perform Prophet runs to enable capture of each element (changes of econs and demographic assumptions) for EEV, SST and BP work.
- Capture and analyse variances (projected from Prophet vs actual) produced.
- Submit results in relevant forms and format.
- Perform Budget Planning (BP) – projection of Company’s new business and profit over the next three years with explicit projected variances outlined.
- Stress Scenario Testing – perform company’s likely Operating EEV, FSG and IFRS profit in the event of stressed scenario specified at time at 0. SST of BP requires stress at each of next three year.
- Reconciling profit metrics – IFRS vs Local Solvency vs EEV.
Performance measures
- Timely delivery of result and message to stakeholders
- To provide management insights by identifying management initiatives to bridge the gap between financial targets and bottom up financials on regular basis.
- Good work and team ethics – instructions and checks followed.
- All submissions are delivered with valuation controls executed (result reasonableness against past year and BP)
