The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll, assisting with compliance and benefits activities and attending to the queries of our most important asset – Our People – in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland, the US and the UK.
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:
- Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information
- Attending to employee and other stakeholder queries with a strong focus on service
- Assist in end-to-end payroll Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland, the US and the UK, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and compliantly
- Assist in company-wide events in the payroll calendar, such as annual salary Increases, bonus payments, year end and benefit renewal
- Assist in preparation of reports for Finance for month end processing, audits etc
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives,
- Work harmoniously with internal stakeholders and customers as well as external stakeholders, including vendors, government agencies and other external stakeholders
You will have:
- Experience in a multi-faceted payroll function (multiple jurisdictions, frequencies and/or entities)
- Experience working with Payroll and HRIS Platforms (Exposure to HiBob, Employment Hero, Papaya Global, TriNet and/or NetSuite would be highly regarded)
- Familiarity with relevant payroll, tax and employment laws in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland, the US and the UK
- Ability to plan, prioritise and work independently to achieve goals and deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service focus
- Experience working with in-house and third-party (outsource) payroll delivery models
- Must be located on the West coast
