This position is responsible for processing company payroll. Ensures accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings and company deductions while ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws.

You will...

  • Learn and master all steps and procedures to successfully process payroll.
  • Customer Service: Answer a large volume of phone calls from aides; answer any payroll questions that may be asked.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding paychecks and withholding.
  • Maintains employee payroll record/files.
  • Use HHA Exchange and ADP programs in daily activities.
  • Enter W4 information into ADP. Request resubmission of error document.
  • Process ADP pay calculations (off-cycle pay), register and fund Wisely accounts as needed.
  • Record content of all phone calls into HHA and activities contemporaneously with the call.
  • Always observe employee confidentiality policies and HIPAA law
  • Tracks and deducts all garnishments and other special payroll deductions.
  • Calculate and process PTO hours that should be applied from the employee’s timesheet.
  • Performs all duties maintaining compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and other regulations/legislation.
  • Participates in other projects or duties as assigned.
  • Meet attendance and punctuality expectations.
  • Adhere to all payroll policies and procedures.

We are excited to speak to someone with the following...

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Five (5) plus years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, not required.
  • Knowledge of the general practices of payroll administration.
  • Experience using ADP Advantage strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and expert/accurate data entry skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Able to maintain the confidential nature of employee and company information.
  • Well organized with the ability to handle multiple projects, ongoing tasks, and unplanned or urgent requests.
  • Operates with a calm sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work in a faced-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills including oral, written, presentation.

Salary: $60,800 - $82,100
