Job Title: Techno Functional Analyst - Payroll
Years Of Experience: 8-12 Years
Role Overview:
Otis is seeking a skilled IT Techno-Functional Analyst with 8+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have had prior hands-on experience supporting the ADP Enterprise HR v5 or v6 payroll system, preferably in such capacity as developer or DBA. This role does not require development or database management, but foundational knowledge of the Ev5 database schema such that custom SQR documentation and data flow supporting payroll processing may be well understood. This position requires supporting U.S. time zone hours.
On a typical day you will:
- Analyze and understand business requirements related to payroll processing.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to payroll systems, referencing SQR documentation as necessary.
- Serve as the payroll system subject matter expert within payroll IT projects.
- Lead small to medium IT projects, from requirement gathering to implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT solutions with business needs.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure data integrity and security in all payroll-related systems.
- Coordinate and guide multiple teams through pay cycle QA testing.
- Write payroll test scenarios/scripts.
What You Will Need to be Successful:
- Strong background in ADP Enterprise HR version 5 or version 6.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT support or business analysis, with a focus on payroll systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in SQL proficiency.(Mandatory)
- Technical/Functional Experience in ADP Payroll system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Prior developer experience with ADP Enterprise HR v5 or v6 or EV5.
- Familiarity with the underlying database structure of ADP Enterprise HR
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.
• Familiarity with ADP AutoSys.
• Familiarity with SQR writing, testing, and execution.
• Experience with system migrations and process improvements.
• Experience with MS Access.
• Experience with Linux script writing/scheduling.
