Job Description

INTRODUCTION:  

We are the #1 FitTech provider for businesses globally and are rapidly expanding our presence in India with a new office in Hyderabad. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic India team. This role will be based in Hyderabad, with the flexibility to work both remotely and in the office for three days a week, including some overlap with U.S. hours. You will report to the Hyderabad People Operations Director and be a crucial member of our Global People Operations and Payroll teams across North America, Europe, and India.

As our Payroll Analyst, you will lead the payroll operations for India and the integration efforts with a new global payroll vendor. This role will require India payroll expertise and the ability to build strong partnerships with existing payroll, people operations, and accounting leaders and team members.

*All applicants must be able to work from our local Hyderabad office 3 days a week . 
 

 WHAT YOU’LL DO:    

·       Process India payroll and manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
·       Audit payroll transactions and payroll registers prior to completion and validate confirmed reports
·       Manage the timekeeping system (Workday Time Management), inclusive of making edits to time punches for employees by supervisor request on an as needed basis as well as approving and submitting time.
·       Research and investigate timely and accurately payroll discrepancies and employee issues.
·       Manage garnishment administration and other special payroll deductions and employment verifications.
·       Generate variety of payroll reports to include pay period, monthly and special reports requested by business leaders and Finance.
·       Process off cycle pay runs on an as need basis.
·       Review and approve India tax data updates
·       Review, retrieve and respond to payroll emails, including those received to People & Culture regarding new hires, payroll changes, terminations, and payroll inquiry inboxes
·       Process terminations and final pay calculations within state guidelines in payroll system timely and accurately
·       Ensure company policies and procedures and federal and state rules and regulations follow relevant laws and internal processes
·       Act as a liaison between Payroll and Finance/Accounting
·       Meet payroll deadlines monthly.
·       Assist with research, process improvements and projects on an as needed basis
·       Conduct and/or participate in internal and external audits
·       Assist in the preparation of benefit reports and/or input benefit deductions including monthly benefit reconciliations
 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

·       Minimum of 2-5 years of end-to-end payroll processing.

·       Advanced experience Excel Skills (pivot tables and lookups) and experience with working with global payroll vendors

·       Expertise in India payroll operations.

·       Engaged leadership style focused on building and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders through collaboration and communication

·       Experience in a global SaaS or tech company, particularly in a fast-growing environment.

·       A proactive, high-energy attitude geared towards achieving continuous improvement.

·       Strong project management and system implementation skills and experience.

·       Experience supporting the Hyderabad region, with knowledge of local HR practices and employment laws.

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to interface and establish rapport with all levels of the organization including executive team members.
