Tapcheck, an award-winning fintech company, is seeking a Payments Operations Specialist to join our team in Plano, TX. In this role, you'll be responsible for working with Tapcheck’s customers, supporting and reconciling payment transactions. You'll need a strong sense of detail and organization to perform successfully in this role.
What You'll Do:
- Support client escalations by addressing and resolving escalated client support inquiries and issues
- Manage financial transactions regarding refunds, returns, and reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed and assist with the collection process for strategic clients
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate process management
- Participate in strategic planning for operations improvement projects
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for process flows and reconciliation
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining system health and connectivity
- Ensure company compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to work out of the Plano, TX office 3x a week
- At least 1+ years of experience in financial services, operations, or related fields
- Proficient in Excel and other technologies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or related experience

Compensation: $25-$27 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: location, experience, training, knowledge. and skills. Tapcheck reserves the right to amend, change, alter, and revise pay ranges and benefits offerings at any time.
