About The Team
The Payment Operations team ensures that client ledgers, client balances, and client money flows are correct and that client funds are safeguarded. The team acts as a second line of defense on ledger and safeguarding risks.
About the Role
As Payment Ops Senior Analyst, you will ensure the success and accuracy of all payment flows within Aspire’s platform. This role is critical for managing day-to-day payment processing, troubleshooting payment issues, and supporting cross-border payments across multiple geographies
What will you be doing?
- Account Integrations: Implement and activate payment integrations, ensuring adherence to all compliance requirements, while collaborating with clients to meet their specific payment processing needs.
- Payment success: Track and improve payment success rates by resolving payment issues and enhancing payment flows, identifying any system bottlenecks or errors.
- Payment systems: Optimize treasury and payment systems to streamline processes, improve automation, and ensure scalability as Aspire grows in new markets.
- Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with the product, customer support, and account management teams to address any payment-related issues and enhance the customer experience.
- Vendor and partner management: Manage relationships with payment service providers, banks, and financial institutions, ensuring they meet our service standards.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensure all payment operations comply with local and international regulatory requirements, particularly in new markets as Aspire expands.
- Operational improvement: Identify areas of improvement in treasury processes and develop strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of payment operations.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on payment success rates, payment failures, and overall treasury operations for senior leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in payments processing, treasury operations, or related fields, preferably in fintech or financial services
- Proven ability to take ownership and initiative, making things happen promptly and being hands-on when necessary.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate requirements, align with key stakeholders, and build consensus for implementing strategies and action plans.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and targets in a highly unstructured environment.
- Expertise in balancing risk and business objectives, making decisions that account for both and rallying stakeholders around them.
