Job Description
As a Party Chief you manage geophysical offshore field work operations with respect to planning, quality and budget and will work with project management and operations teams onshore to maximize the operational efficiency of the project field staff and optimise vessel up time.
You are office-based with dedicated offshore time onboard of our geophyiscal vessels. In between offshore periods you dedicate time in the office for the purpose of project close-out, project preparation, information sharing, training and personal engagement with your onshore colleagues.
Your role

You lead the project field staff by supervising the project teams and coordinating operational support teams to deliver excellence;

You proactively take care of development of a positive safety culture offshore by driving the behavioral changes required to continuously improve safety standards;

You develop documentation including Project Execution Plans and Port Call Plans;

You are focal point of contact of clients, internal partners, sub-contractors and directly deal with the onboard client representatives;

You support and promote the Team Fugro culture.
Your track record
-
You have BSc. degree in a relevant discipline and geophysical experience;
-
You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in marine offshore projects;
-
You have leadership experience, proven people management skills, know how to motivate field staff and set example to others;

You have excellent communication and language skills in English (written and spoken);
-
You have a commercial mind-set and strive for delivery excellence;
-
You adopt a proactive and systematic approach with a competitive attitude;
-
You are an EU member, or in the possession of an EU work permit.
