As our Partner Marketing Specialist, you will drive and lead our partner marketing, campaign, and events strategy, optimizing partner performance and driving innovation in the remittance industry. This role focuses on maximizing the impact of strategic partnerships, co-branded initiatives, and brand activations, ensuring seamless execution and enhancing customer engagement through data-driven strategies. You will play a key role in strengthening relationships with key partners and amplifying Mama Money’s presence in core markets.

As our Partner Marketing Specialist you will:

  • Develop and drive partner marketing campaigns with key retail partners in South Africa and pay-out partners in Zimbabwe and Malawi. 
  • Work closely with partners to create co-branded campaigns and optimize customer engagement.
  • Negotiate marketing agreements and partnership deals to ensure brand visibility and impact.
  • Plan and execute brand activations in high-impact locations and events.
  • Lead and manage marketing partnerships and on the ground execution for GhanaFest, ZimFest, and other community events.
  • Oversee content and production for localized storytelling brand awareness touch points to connect with key audiences.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of brand awareness campaigns in targeted regions to strengthen customer trust and adoption.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between marketing, sales, and external stakeholders to maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Grow cards sales at retailers through marketing campaigns with retailers.
  • Manage card stock to ensure that retailers have sufficient cards in store.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of partner activations and campaigns.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and improve partner engagement and performance.
  • Identify new opportunities to expand brand reach and enhance marketing effectiveness.

Experience & qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in marketing and partnership management.
  • Experience in executing co-branded campaigns and marketing activations. 
  • Negotiation & Relationship Management: Strong ability to develop and manage partnerships, negotiate deals, and drive mutual growth.
  • Campaign Execution: Hands-on experience in planning, launching, and optimizing brand campaigns.
  • Project Coordination: Ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Performance & Data Analysis: Experience in tracking marketing performance and using insights to drive improvements.
  • Retail & Distribution Knowledge: Understanding of card stock management and retail partnerships is a plus.
