Overview:

Dandy is hiring a Partials Injection Mold Designer to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. The ideal candidate will create precise injection mold designs based on partial designs. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, dental knowledge, and attention to detail.
What You'll Do

• Design injection molds using Blender software based on partials designed by our partials team.

• Ensure high accuracy and quality in all injection mold designs.

• Adhere to design specifications and turnaround times.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a dental lab or CAD/CAM environment

  • Experience managing design projects from start to finish

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in design and manufacturing

  • Proficiency in dental CAD software (exocad, 3Shape, etc.)

  • Ability to design dental prosthetics (crowns, bridges, veneers, etc.)

  • Experience with 3D modeling and understanding of dental anatomy

  • Strong attention to detail for precision in design

Bonus Points For
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Knowledge of dental milling machines and 3D printers

• Degree in dental technology, dental hygiene, dentistry, or related field

• Certification in CAD/CAM software (e.g., exocad, 3Shape)

• Knowledge in Blender software for advanced 3D modeling and design tasks

Additional Requirements:
• Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
• Patient enough to take the time to troubleshoot
