About the role

As a Paralegal, you will develop in a high-growth, fast-paced commercial environment. We are looking for a results-oriented Paralegal to join our team in New York. The Legal team is an external and internal-facing function which supports all aspects of our various business units across all of our global offices. 
Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and drafting legal documentation
  • Assisting attorneys with the negotiation and documentation of client contracts and third party vendor/ supply chain contracts
  • Conducting legal research and assisting with the preparation of internal policies and training materials
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams and actively managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Issue-spotting and appropriately escalating risks and concerns
  • Managing ongoing client and supply chain contracting processes to help the team meet deadlines
  • Developing and maintaining a legal document system and assisting with migrating our documents to related technology platforms
  • Collaborating with the legal team and other specialist functions on a wide variety of ad hoc projects in areas such as KYC/compliance, financing, data privacy, IP and corporate governance
  • Day-to-day tasks ranging from monitoring and maintaining playbooks, contract trackers and agendas to document processing tasks

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Track record of strong academic performance (minimum GPA of 3.5)
  • At least 1 year of previous experience working as a paralegal. Previous experience at a law firm is desirable
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in a relevant foreign language is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF Pro
  • Work authorization in the United States

Compensation and benefits 

  • Compensation: $70,000-$85,000
  • 17 vacation days, in addition to 10 public holidays, and business closure during winter holiday week

  • 401(k) match - 4% of your total compensation matched dollar-for-dollar
  • Prime midtown office with state-of-the-art amenities; option to WFH each Friday
