Job Description
Informa TechTarget is seeking a Paralegal to join the Company’s Deal Desk team, to support the Industry Dive line of business by collaborating with our Sales team to review and fulfil contract revision requests. Reporting to the Industry Dive Contracts Manager, you will be supporting the contract management, sales, and customer success teams with client onboarding, contract review, negotiation, administration, and other support functions. The Paralegal will work with other key internal business partners and stakeholders and provide support to the Contracts Manager as needed.
Essential functions:
- Serve as a strategic and tactical business partner to Sales team to facilitate deals.
- Field and respond to legal and contract inquiries from Sales team via a queue
- Field and respond to and/or create redlined documents from/for clients; from small campaign-specific engagements to large, multi-year Enterprise contracts.
- Review client-generated RFPS, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, for compliance with company standards.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and approve Non-Disclosure Agreements, Purchase Orders, Insertion Orders, and Statements of Work to support sale of media and related products
- Provide support for legal aspects of client vendor procurement approval processes and/or coordinate completion of client vendor technology questionnaires.
- Assist in the support, administration and project management of the Company’s contract lifecycle management tool and contract review processes
- Interface and collaborate with various business units and leaders at all levels of the organization, including Legal, Finance, Sales, IT, and Human Resources, as well as with external representatives and parties as needed
- Participate in projects in support of business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school and paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred;
- Knowledge of contract law, contract provisions and general business trends.
- Understanding of contracts management and commercial contracts review/support including experience working with IronClad or other CLMs;
- Ability to organize and solve requests in a queue; experience with Salesforce Cases helpful, but not required
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member under tight deadlines, carry out multiple related activities simultaneously, proactively identify issues and provide strategic advice;
- Demonstrated initiative, enthusiasm, resourcefulness, and strong work ethic with a high degree of accountability.
- Ability to influence others and negotiate with composure, objectivity, balancing diplomacy and drive.
- Experience supporting a growing and fast-moving Sales team a plus.
- Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of workstreams.
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse groups across the organization;
- Ability to efficiently and effectively manage complex and high-profile issues and competing priorities;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; and
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
Additional Information
The pay for this role is $30-$35/hr based on experience.
