POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Palantir Technical Product Lead with a specialized focus on Foundry tools and ontology architecture to lead technical delivery teams.
As a Palantir Technical Product Lead you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced data solutions using Palantir Foundry. This role requires a deep understanding of data integration, modeling, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
We are expanding our Palantir practice and developing innovative analytical and logical data models. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that our data solutions align with strategic goals and deliver actionable insights.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for Palantir initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
- Lead a cross-functional team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers in the development of data models
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project status and gathering feedback
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and expectations
- Leverage your understanding of data science methodologies, statistical analysis, and machine learning to increase the effectiveness of your team.
- Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that enhance data modeling capabilities.
- Ensure that data models are robust, scalable, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the QA team to establish testing protocols and validate model performance.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in fields related to data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in a technical position with applied use of Advanced expertise in data architecture, data integration workflows, pipeline design, and data transformation
- 3+ years of experience in product management or leadership
- 3+ Years of Python/PySpark or SQL experience required
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices
- Experience with SaaS solution running in cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS/Google
- Strategic thinker with a keen ability to identify patterns and find systematic solutions
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, at all levels including customers, vendors, peers, business stakeholders and management
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and experience working in Agile teams
Preferred: Strong background in the following areas:
- Experience with Healthcare/Manufacturing/Distributions operations preferred.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data and problem-solving
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to profile and analyze data, derive insights from data as well as experience working with many disparate data sets required
- Capable of learning new systems and creating/implementing new system functionality
