About Our Team
Cross River’s team is made up of problem solvers hungry to build and perfect new products and systems. We work with team members in most US time zones. Although we are in separate places, we still make space to know one another and have fun! We collaborate, help and mentor each other, and check in on our progress and blocks frequently. We work together primarily with Confluence, GitHub, JIRA, and Teams.
What We’re Looking for
We are seeking an experienced Foundry Solution Architect with a strong background in Palantir Foundry, data architecture, and solution design.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing and implementing scalable, robust, and innovative data solutions using Palantir Foundry. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, and platform engineering teams to define and deliver end-to-end solutions that address complex business challenges.
The candidate will also create detailed architectural documentation and ensure the successful implementation of designed solutions
Role and Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture & Design:
- Lead the design and development of robust data architectures and solutions using Palantir Foundry to address business needs.
- Define architectural standards and best practices for Palantir Foundry implementations.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with data governance and regulatory requirements.
- Where required, code data transforms in coordination with the data engineer team.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into architectural solutions.
- Work closely with data engineers, platform engineers, and other technical teams to gather and document detailed technical requirements.
- Technical Leadership & Guidance:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams during the implementation of solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior architects and engineers on best practices and advanced techniques in data architecture and Palantir Foundry.
- Documentation & Communication:
- Create comprehensive architectural documentation, including data models, process flows, and technical specifications.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Quality Assurance & Optimization:
- Oversee the testing and validation of implemented solutions to ensure they meet specified requirements.
- Use Palantir’s analytical tools to demonstrate data quality and architecture as well as lead analytical investigations for data projects.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize solutions to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Innovation & Best Practices:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Palantir Foundry and data architecture.
- Drive innovation by incorporating new techniques and technologies into the solution design process.
- Develop and communicate Foundry deployment best practices
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on data platforms and Palantir Foundry.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data solutions.
- Extensive experience in data modeling, data integration, and data governance.
- Experience integrating Foundry with existing IT systems and environments.
- Financial Industry and AML/Fraud experience
- Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Palantir Foundry and its components.

- Proficient in SQL, PySpark, and other relevant data technologies.
- Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance best practices.
- Experience in developing data-driven solutions that meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor technical teams effectively.
- Other Required Skills:
- Experience in project management, Scrum methodology of Transaction Monitoring System implementations in Risk and/or Compliance area.

- Proven record collaborating with international and remote/hybrid team
- Experience handling external audit/regulatory examinations.
- Great communication, analysis, and presentation skills. Should be able to work closely with business to understand business priorities and requirements.
- Proven experience translating requirements to viable design, ability develop and test solutions that meet business requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

Salary Range: $170,000.00 - $200,000.00
