We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paid Media Manager to join our Digital Media Activation Team. Reporting to the Paid Media Director, this role is responsible for implementing high-performing media campaigns and overseeing a team of Media Operations Specialists. The Paid Media Manager will ensure the delivery of quality media buying and optimization, maintaining the highest standards and reducing errors. This role is critical in driving efficiency, accuracy, and innovation within our media activation processes.

This role includes working closely with clients, client services, and other operational teams on cross-channel media strategies, optimization plans, and reporting. You as the Paid Media Manager will be responsible for managing a team, achieving both team and client KPIs, and ensuring high-quality execution. You will support the Paid Media Director in strategy development and client engagement, acting as the second-in-command to the Paid Media Director, you will step in as needed to ensure seamless operations.

You build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure seamless collaboration. You keep up to date with market trends, platform updates, and competitor strategies. You understand budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis to align campaigns with financial goals and thrive in dynamic environments, quickly adjusting to change while maintaining focus on key objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Implementation, Operational, and Delivery Excellence 
    • Lead the implementation and optimization of paid media campaigns across platforms, ensuring alignment with client goals and performance metrics.
    • Establish and maintain robust processes to ensure accuracy and quality in media buying and activation.
    • Oversee the workflow and output of Media Operations Specialists, providing guidance and support to drive operational excellence.
  • Monitor Campaign Performance to Ensure Exceptional Results for Clients
    • Continuously monitor campaign performance across all active platforms, ensuring delivery against KPIs.
    • Manage budgets effectively to maximize ROI and prevent overspending.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve campaign-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Contribute to the Delivery of Detailed Analysis and Actionable Recommendations 
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance to identify trends and insights.
    • Prepare comprehensive performance reports with clear, data-driven recommendations for optimization.
    • Share actionable insights with clients, helping them understand campaign impact and areas for improvement.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration to Ensure Seamless Delivery and Standards in Client Success 
    • Support the VP, Media Activation, in resource planning and workload management across teams.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for cross-team workflows.
    • Participate in client meetings to represent the media activation perspective and ensure alignment.

Required QualificationsExperience

  • 4-6 years of experience in paid media activation.
  • Expertise in platforms:
    • Required: Google Ads (including Shopping), Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager 360.
    • Preferred: Google Analytics 4, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, The Trade Desk, or any other DSPs.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing performance-driven campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to reducing errors in all deliverables.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Campaign Manager, and other ad tech solutions.
