P-8 Mods Integration Team Project Engineer (Lead or Senior Level)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) and the P-8 Mods Integration Team are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including a Lead or Senior Level Project Engineer to support our team at Cecil Field in Jacksonville, FL.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the P-8 INC 3 Modification Program. This position will play a critical role in driving lean initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring long-term program stability and success.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering leadership to team representing multiple skill areas, including internal and external resources and the US Navy customer. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies, and execute plans that ensure shop operational efficiency.
- Lead project execution for lean initiatives to enable touch labor learning curve on P-8 INC 3 modifications at BJAX. Analyze and monitor the learning curve associated with the modification processes, implementing best practices to facilitate continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.
- Lead and implement lean methodologies to optimize processes, reduce touch labor hours, and enhance overall productivity within the modification program.
- Coordinate resources required to enable lean initiatives to be executed and implemented
- Identify appropriate metrics to measure lean initiatives effectiveness and analyze data to recommend opportunities for additional improvement. Utilize data-driven approaches to assess performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Work closely with other functions and stakeholders to ensure that all engineering and operational activities align with the long-term goals of the P-8 INC 3 Modification Program.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Cecil Field in Jacksonville, FL.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, with a focus on lean manufacturing and operational efficiency.
- Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on P-8 or other commercial derivative military platforms.
- Experience working in various shop support functions including Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, etc.

Lead Level Summary pay Range: $114,750 - $155,250
Senior Level Summary Pay Range: $140,250 - $189,750
