We are a growing contractor based in Austin that specializes in roofing and light commercial construction. Family-owned and operated business that couldn’t be more Built In Austin.

Job Description:

An outside sales rep in the construction field is a renaissance man (or woman). One must be able to navigate an office, job-site, customer home, or a company’s conference room to close a contract – sometimes all in one day. Sales Reps run in-bound leads and generate their own sales opportunities. This role involves everything from physical inspection of properties to closing high-ticket sales. The vast majority of this activity happens in the field.

Aside from being comfortable with daily customer interaction, a Sales Rep must be able or have the willingness to learn how to read and write estimates. This role is suitable for those with strong finance or similar backgrounds as well as those willing to learn.  

 

Must possess the ability to:

  • Perform property inspections on residential and commercial properties
  • Learn and understand roofing and exterior material types for residential & commercial sales
  • Engage in a consultative sales training process - apply training to daily activity
  • Self-generate leads and sales. Willingness to learn how to prospect and engage new customers.
  • Document sales activity accurately using company CRM
  • Manage daily schedule of customer appointments
  • Create residential and commercial proposals and estimates
  • Achieve sales goals and company targets - work collaboratively with management to establish and exceed stated goals
  • Work collaboratively with team members to reach earnings targets
  • Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and execute agreements with clients.
  • Follow-up with clients during and after job production and completion

Benefits: Full-time position. Company Cell Phone, Company Truck and/or vehicle reimbursement. Health, dental, and vision insurance eligible after 60 days.

Required: 2+ years relevant sales or industry experience, valid Driver's License, clean driving record, ability to lift 50+ lbs, ability to climb a ladder, experience with Microsoft and CRM platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
