What You Will Do

As a Sales Manager, you will drive company growth by building strong relationships, uniting the team around actionable goals, and regularly setting clear revenue targets. You will enhance Key Performance Indicators and ensure operational excellence. Using both qualitative and quantitative data, you will make informed decisions, communicate strategy, inspire your team, evaluate the Sales department's performance, and excel in engaging with people.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manages Team Leaders/Supervisors overseeing outbound sales representatives
  • Identifies, prioritizes, and coaches supervisors/new agents on development areas
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Initiates new projects, process improvements and strategic initiatives
  • Plans staffing needs at least 1-3 months in advance
  • Responsible for hiring new talents and performance management
  • Utilizes CRM tools, pulls data and analyzes it to support sales representatives and enhance team effectiveness.
  • Maintains target levels of performance required and goals set by the company
  • Maintains up-to-date level of product and procedural knowledge by being attentive to and acting upon information advised in general company email/Slack updates, team meetings, training and other briefings
  • Implements motivational techniques to foster team building and increase morale.
  • Actively engages with team members to enhance motivation, collaboration, and job satisfaction.
  • Multitasks, listens, inputs data, probes, and provides solutions to the agents/Supervisors
  • Ensures that all Agent reference materials are up to date
  • Prepares weekly and monthly business reviews
  • Undertakes duties of a general nature or additional tasks as business requires.
  • Conducts mandatory phone call/virtual monitoring and desk-side coaching to ensure that all agents are providing the levels of call handling and sales techniques that are required.
  • Facilitates Department specific onboarding
  • Coach, develop and retain a diverse and highly effective sales drive and workforce.
  • Ensures overall quality and productivity as a sales representative’s function by evaluating and analyzing quantitative and qualitative performance results and develops and initiates actions to improve employee performance.
  • Writes and conducts performance evaluations, sets performance goals and objectives for assigned teams
  • Acts as a trusted advisor providing guidance when sought out; builds productive relationships within leadership and support groups.
  • Partners with internal departments such as  Human Resources, Training Quality and relevant functional departments to focus on common goals and influence performance of site and change employee behavior.
  • Support in planning and execution of company  programs for the timely development and progression of employees - both direct reports and other internal employees.
  • Monitors team performance and sales conversion to ensure goals are being met; teams are in compliance with policies and procedures. Initiate actions to help drive team performance.

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years experience in management level
  • Advanced proficiency level in English communication
  • Must be adept in use of Microsoft Office (advanced level), Google Applications (Docs, Calendar, etc.) Slack, etc. 
  • Experience using CRM tools (i.e. Hubspot, Salesforce)
  • Preferably with experience leading a sales team in a startup environment or with a pioneering team
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Cebu office
  • Attention to detail, rigorous, takes initiative and is proactive. 
  • Can effectively manage multiple conversations, demands and completing deadlines. 
  • Excellent multitasking capabilities, creative, organizational, administration and quality assurance skills.
  • Produces a satisfactory level of work output. 
  • Excellent people skills, highly flexible, adaptable, and highly empathetic. 
  • Good listener and articulates thoughts and ideas clearly.
