Job Description
For our factory in Elst we are looking for an experienced and enthousiastic manager for the Outbound Logistics department. In this role you will be responsible for the outgoing flow of finished goods. You are also the asset and application owner of all automated technology in the Outbound (OBL) and MSK area. This commands a constant focus on technical well-being that you maintain together with your team of 5 direct reports. At all times, you prioritize to keep the factory going, without giving in on CFR. While doing so, you translate any initiatives of the business in terms of safety, quality and change to the rest of your team. You maintain close ties with other departments and function as a gatekeeper for any applicable logistics, safety, or quality constraints to the proposed production plan. In this role, the OBL-MSK manager will continuously seek to improve the value chain and minimize non-value-added activities.
In brief, you are responsible for:

  • Improving internal efficiency by optimizing operational structure, prioritization of tasks and escalation meetings
  • Leading and developing the OBL team, controlling the labor planning wihtin the team
  • Delivering the most efficient transport plan possible, without violating recommended shipments.
  • Guarding capacity constraints related to OEE, safety and quality
  • Ad-hoc prioritization to make sure business goals are translated into decision making
  • Overseeing technical state of the MSK area, Actiw warehous and automated loading systems
  • Owning applications such as AGI, LSP push system, Clevertech, MII, etc.
  • Designing and improving the Tier 1 network of Kraft Heinz
  • Detecting and acting on improvement possibilities, leading improvement projects for OBL


Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

  • Bachelor or Master in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Industrial Engineering
  • Several years of experience in FMCG Operationsm, preferably as manager within Logistics
  • Experience with SAP or willingness to become an expert
  • Expert in Excel
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
