About the role:
This role is directly responsible for performing data analysis and approving promotional credits. As an OTC Analyst, you will build and maintain stakeholder relationships with the local business as well as develop and improve your own methodologies, tools, and processes in the OTC area.
The role requires regular contact with the business, daily preparation of reports, analysis of large volumes of data that affect many different process areas (Collection, Cash Application etc.)
We would love to hear from you if you have 2-3 years related experience in the OTC area and a track record of implementation of improvements. This is a fixed-term contract for about 15 months.
What you’ll do:
- Perform calculations based on financial data as well as recommend/implement respective actions
- Resolve most complex problems independently or address them accordingly
- Drive and take ownership of the transitioned tasks
- Be responsible for analyzing data and generating numerous dashboards
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with local finance/business
- Develop and improve own methodologies, tools, and processes
- Perform assigned processes (main and backup) independently as well as support and share knowledge with colleagues within the team and outside the team
Qualifications and Requirements:
- University Degree in Finance/Accounting or any related
- Excellent understanding of OTC processes
- Solid knowledge of accounting policies and principles, activities and processes, awareness of internal and external business environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
- Working knowledge of MS Office, very good Excel skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in reviewing and interpreting financial reports and data
- Ability to multi-task under pressure & great problem solving skills
