Role: OS&D Office Clerk

Who we’re looking for:
Fastfrate Group is looking for a qualified OS&D person for our Calgary, AB office. You’ll handle the day-to-day exceptions of incoming trailers and containers. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as planning and organization ability necessary to perform the role effectively.

What you’ll do:
- Manage a high volume of OS&D events and provide problem resolution for customers, dock & carriers
- Investigate reasons for refusals, overages, shortages, damages and OWB’s
- Work with all shippers & branches in resolving of issues
- Cross check all unload reports promptly and capture discrepancies in our system
- Work with the gathering of information related to approved disposals
- Generate and submit accurate OS&D reports with proper systemic notes and supporting documents
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
- Perform daily dock checks to identify all OS&D freight or damages
- All duties are highly critical, time-sensitive, and require an elevated diplomacy level when dealing with high-profile national customers.
- Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures
Must Haves:
- Minimum 1 year of OS&D experience in the transportation industry
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good computer skills required, Excel and Word
- Steel toe boots or shoes required
