Do you want to be a part of the clean energy movement? Are you passionate about improving our environment for this generation and those to follow? Are you ready to take on new challenges and collaborate with a future-focused team leading the way into new markets? Join Nexamp!
This is where you can learn from industry leaders and become one yourself. It's fast-paced, mission-based work that challenges the status quo. Be on the team that's changing the world.
What we’re looking for:
Nexamp is investing in process and organizational transformation to scale efficiently and build on our success as the largest fully integrated Distributed Generation and Community Solar company in the U.S. We are looking for an Organizational Effectiveness Manager who will roll up their sleeves to execute workforce initiatives, implement organizational improvements, and actively drive change management programs that deliver measurable impact. You’ll play a critical role in designing and executing workforce strategies that enhance agility, collaboration, and operational efficiency. This role requires someone who can dig into challenges, pilot solutions, and drive real change—not just strategize from the sidelines.
We are seeking candidates in our Headquarters in Boston, MA, where you will be hybrid. You will report into the Transformation team, with a dotted line to the People team.
What you’ll do:
- Own and execute workforce optimization initiatives by conducting deep-dive assessments, restructuring teams for efficiency, and directly implementing solutions that enhance collaboration and support business growth.
- Engage directly with leaders, teams, and employees to uncover inefficiencies, pilot new team structures, and implement organizational redesign initiatives that improve agility and performance.
- Develop and execute change management strategies using proven methodologies such as Prosci’s ADKAR model and Kotter’s 8-Step Framework to ensure smooth adoption and measurable impact.
- Actively partner with senior leadership, the People Team, and functional groups to identify and execute opportunities for organizational improvements that drive business efficiency and employee engagement.
- Track, analyze, and report on the impact of organizational changes using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure employee performance, satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement workforce planning strategies that improve succession planning, address skill gaps, and support long-term talent development.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices, incorporating benchmarking data to enhance Nexamp’s workforce strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Be a hands-on leader in continuous improvement by mentoring team members, providing training in process optimization, and personally driving initiatives forward.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in organizational design, workforce planning, or change management, with a track record of implementing, not just advising on, workforce transformations.
- Strong expertise in change management methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, or Kotter’s 8-Step Model, with demonstrated success in leading and executing change initiatives.
- Experience in a high-growth or scaling company, where organizational structures, processes, and workforce needs are evolving rapidly.
- A hands-on, execution-driven mindset with the ability to test solutions in real time, adapt quickly, and personally drive initiatives to successful completion.
- Deep understanding of workforce planning, talent management strategies, and organizational design principles, with a focus on optimizing employee performance and engagement.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling narratives, present data-driven insights to executives, and facilitate group discussions with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational challenges, develop practical solutions, and implement scalable workforce strategies that support business expansion.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, inspire collaboration, and drive consensus among diverse groups with competing priorities.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, or Monday, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
- Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality.
- Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
- Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
- Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
If you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, but see yourself contributing, please submit an application. We encourage people from minority or marginalized groups to apply.
