We are looking for a new colleague to join as an Organization Improvement Manager for our factory in Falkenberg.
In the factory in Falkenberg we are around 360 employees. We are a modern organization with high technology machines and mindset. Technology development and upgrading project are constantly on our agenda. Our productions are within fast moving consumer goods. In our factory we are producing diapers, incontinence products mostly for markets within Central- and East Europe.

About the role
The OI Manager, together with the other MT members, determines the strategic direction for the plant to support the Essity organizational objectives. You are responsible for implementing and securing Manufacturing Excellence (MEx) initiatives and developing individuals, teams and the organization in this area. You will report to Site Manager and belong to the Leadership Team.
Main accountabilities and responsibilities

People Development & Strategy Implementation: Support the site to achieve desired results through people development and the implementation of the agreed strategy and HMEX roadmap.

Continuous Improvement & Root Cause Analysis: Drive and monitor the implementation of Manufacturing Excellence enablers, support the team with root cause analysis, and ensure standards are fixed, shared, and reapplied across the site.

Leadership & Compliance: Provide leadership direction and priorities to develop organizational capabilities/skills, and lead by example in terms of security and compliance with SQCDM standards (safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale).

Operational Process Improvement: Initiate, implement, and monitor activities to improve operational processes, and build a culture of continuous improvement by implementing new tools and enhancing existing ones.

Standardization & Benchmarking: Ensure standardization of systems in the factory, define and promote tools for compliance with standards, and conduct benchmarking with other factories to apply the best possible solutions.
What will you do

Support the local site in delivering expected results by implementing Manufacturing Excellence (MEx) initiatives according to mill priorities and building operational team capabilities.

Drive and monitor the implementation of Manufacturing Excellence enablers within the site, such as DDS, and support the definition of site action plans for continuous improvement based on identified gaps.

Be a role model for safety, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working environment.

Support the Site Manager in delivering desired results through people development and the implementation of MEx initiatives.

Actively promote and follow up on the consistent implementation of Manufacturing Excellence programs and enablers according to the site's business priorities, coaching local teams and developing Operations Managers and Leaders.

Actively transfer skills and knowledge, developing capabilities within the site, and review implementation progress and quality, addressing any gaps that arise.

Proactively share, learn, and reapply best practices across the site, ensuring that systems are standardized and incorporated at the site level.

Maintain a close link to the Global MEx team to align and implement system enablers (best practices) and ensure standards are effective and delivering desired results.

To be successful in the role you need to be a communicative leader who operates with a positive and pragmatic can-do attitude, embracing driving change management and dealing with ambiguity and complexity. You are used to handling statistics and to make logical reasoning.
