Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a recently formed team of Order To Cash professionals In Heredia. Costa Rica.

  • You will manage a team of 10 direct reports to ensure a smooth and efficient department across the functions of Order Management, Cash Collections, Customer Credit Management and Customer Support, whilst operating in a reporting structure that supports local site leadership.
  • You will participate in the coordination of Order-to-Cash team activities with your global counterparts and work closely with the with Senior Director, Global Order-to-Cash Operations.
  • You will work closely with the Global Process Owner of Customer Credit Management, driving an operational approach of newly implemented credit functionalities.
  • You will collaborate with regional based Order to Cash leaders in our Cash Collections, Customer Services and Order Processing organization, serving a global customer base.
  • You will get the opportunity to be a change agent, we are a fast-growing company and a constantly evolving team.
  • Motivate and develop team through coaching, feedback, and personal development in order to enhance individual and team performance and maximize staff retention.
  • Develop goals that complement the overarching business goals of the company and coordinate staff to continually meet and exceed goals
  • Run reports and analyze data pertaining to the department and share with executive staff and managers of department staff as needed.
  • Serve as an intricate link between Order to Cash, Revenue and Sales Operations


What your team will do:

  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing direct customers and partners
  • Create, maintain, and improve documentation of procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the OTC Managers to create an efficiency in cash collection activities and reduce bad debt exposure.
  • Review and approval of credit terms on customer contracts


Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • Passionate about building a world-class Accounts Receivable team
  • Experience in managing a large team
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance
  • 7 years of experience in finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred: Previous Credit Management and/or Accounts Receivable Experience
