Terillium is seeking an Oracle Cloud Project Manager. The Oracle Cloud Project Manager will focus on leading a team of consultants and client personnel on all aspects of Oracle Cloud ERP implementation projects. The job requires deep project management experience with a consulting organization, broad technology knowledge and the ability to facilitate the deployment of an ERP solution across multiple business units within an organization. Understanding of project methodology is essential to delivering high level solutions.
Collaborating with a client-side project manager, responsibilities include project planning, communications, coordination, issues management, risk mitigation, escalations, and budget tracking. The person will act as a liaison with technical, functional and client-side resources throughout implementation and post-implementation support. The selected candidate will apply solid project management and leadership skills and experience in delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will be a professional who can communicate effectively and has the appropriate years of experience of leading project teams to successfully implementations. This individual excels at delivering high quality service and cutting-edge solutions to Terillium clients in the Oracle community.
IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION
- 1+ years Oracle Cloud Project Management (SaaS / Fusion) experience
- 5+ years of business analyst experience
- 3+ years of Oracle (EBS,JDE) Application experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
- PMP Certification preferred
- A minimum of seven years of managing ERP implementations
- Managed at least two full Oracle Cloud Project Lifecycle implementations
- Experience working for a Consulting Services organization
- Project Management experience using Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Project Server
- Experience with Oracle ERP Implementation Methodologies including AIM. Understanding of Oracle OUM is a plus
- Experience managing a consulting team of 10+ resources
- Experience with project planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting
- Experience with change management, project risk mitigation, and issue management
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Successful track record of managing large, complex projects
- Ability to work effectively in a time critical environment
PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the preparation of proposals and statements of work, develop project estimates, work plans, staffing plans and advise on implementation strategy.
- Manage information technology ERP projects/programs for client organizations and ensure project requirements are appropriately specified to allow timely, high-quality delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans with identifiable critical paths, task dependencies, and major milestones, and manage the agreed project plans and schedules.
- Estimate and qualify the resources needed to achieve ERP implementation success and ongoing support goals.
- Work directly with the PMO, client project management and steering committee to participate in decisions relevant to the project, help resolve issues, mitigate risks, and provide timely status reports on consulting tasks and milestones.
- Identify and escalate critical implementation issues where Terillium expertise and partner influence may be required.
- Manage and minimize customization requests as needed to support best practice of implementing standard ERP package software processes whenever possible.
- Provide performance feedback to project team members. Coach, mentor and lead project team members, educating each in the methodology being used and their role in achieving success.
- Stay abreast of changes and improvements in Project Management and offer innovative ideas for improving ERP project management processes and methodologies that would give Terillium a competitive edge.
