Oracle EPM Analyst
What can you expect:
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 4 years of experience in implementing Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (EPBCS/PBCS) or Hyperion Planning or Essbase Applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional knowledge of financial systems and processes, as well as a deep understanding of accounting principles such as GAAP, GASP, FASB, and FASAB.

We will count on you to:
-
Implement and configure EPBCS/PBCS or Hyperion Planning or Essbase Applications, including building metadata, designing web forms, conducting data reconciliation, building dashboards, and automating business rules.

Gather business requirements, design and prototype solutions, conduct testing, provide training, define support procedures and SLAs, and implement robust and scalable solutions.

Demonstrate proficiency in the creation of member formulas and any customizations in EPBCS, as well as the creation of complex business rules such as custom consolidations/aggregations, custom currency conversions, and dynamic calculations.

Build integration artifacts in Cloud Data Management and FDMEE, including locations, maps, custom/import scripts, and handling file-related or custom automation using Python Scripts.

Develop scripts using Python/Groovy/CDM APIs for scripting purposes.

Conduct testing, including system, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing, and prepare deliverables such as design documents, test documentation, training materials, and administration/procedural guides.

Utilize excellent Excel and VB Scripting skills to support various tasks.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
What you need to have:
-
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in implementing EPBCS/PBCS or Hyperion Planning or Essbase Applications.

Strong functional knowledge of financial systems and processes.
-
Deep understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP, GASP, FASB, FASAB).
-
Working knowledge of the functional aspects of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, currency translations, inter-company eliminations, and consolidation accounting under various GAAPs.

Proficiency in EPBCS Standard dimensions, member formulas, and customizations.
-
Proficiency in creating complex business rules.
-
Proficient in building integration artifacts in Cloud Data Management and FDMEE using Python Scripts.

Development experience in scripting with Python/Groovy/CDM APIs.

Good working knowledge of EPM Automate.
