What Billing Solutions contributes to Cardinal Health

Billing Solutions is responsible for finance related activities such as customer carrier/courier, and vendor contract administration, pricing, and billing.

• Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.
• Demonstrates experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.
• Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.
• Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from carriers /couriers, customers, and vendors.
• Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of customer billing, carrier cost audit, remittance, and reconciliation.  
• Accountable for billing performance including but not limited to cycle times and invoice accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 8-12 years of experience, preferred
• Analytical background 
• Strong communication skills
• Process improvement skillset
• Excel and/or SQL knowledge
• Transportation or Carrier experience desirable

• Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, frontline supervisors and/or business support staff
• Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
• Ensures employees operate within guidelines
• Decisions have a short term impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers
• Interacts with subordinates, peer customers and suppliers at various management levels may interact with senior management
• Interactions normally involves resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects
• Gains consensus from various parties involved

Anticipated salary range: $ 86,400- $123,400
