Overview:

INTECON, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Research Analyst with an active clearance to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Chief Strategy Office (CSO) Change Management and Strategic Planning (CM&SP) Team. This role is specifically geared towards enhancing Workforce and Workplace Studies within DCSA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background with the capability to conduct comprehensive studies aimed at optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the agency’s workforce and workplace environments in alignment with the agency’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth studies aimed at improving processes, workforce, and workplace within DCSA, employing advanced business process design, and reengineering tools, including process mapping.
  • Ensure alignment of studies with the DCSA Strategic Plan, applying analytical rigor to develop and standardize as-is and to-be process models, and improve business processes.
  • Utilize mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and optimization methods to interpret data, supporting management in decision making, policy formulation, and managerial functions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, communicate findings effectively, and facilitate the decision-making process based on comprehensive data analysis.
  • Lead the planning and facilitation of meetings, focus groups, and training sessions, directly contributing to the successful implementation of study findings.
  • Design, track, and manage plans of actions and milestones, providing expert guidance to ensure the adoption of best practices and the realization of strategic objectives.
  • Engage in targeted communications planning and support, ensuring clear and concise dissemination of information related to workforce and workplace improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is preferred. Will consider:
    • Position related trainings and certificates in-lieu of a degree.
    • Additional four (4) years of experience in-lieu of a degree.
    • 6 years’ work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
    • Associate's Degree plus 4 years’ work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of three (3+) years of experience in Operations Research or related field.
  • Proficiency in using statistical software and data analysis tools, coupled with strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and communication skills, with the capacity to translate complex analytical findings for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to perform functional duties independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
