Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Project Manager with a background in employee health and benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of projects, ensuring that all initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively. Key projects may include but are not limited to: new acquisition onboarding, agency management system conversions, departmental engagement on specific projects, real estate initiatives, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines, monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish deliverables.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Facilitate meetings and presentations for stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries and communications.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Track project progress, manage resources, and analyze data utilizing tools such as Excel and SmartSheet.
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations using Word, PowerPoint, and other tools to communicate project outcomes and insights.

Scheduling and Task Management:

  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes in scope or timelines.
  • Coordinate meeting scheduling for projects.

Qualifications:

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the employee health and benefits sector is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Location and Travel:

  • This Project Manager position offers flexibility, as it does not require a specific MMA Southwest location. The role will necessitate travel based on project requirements and acquisitions.
