This role can be based between two sites Prestons and Kemps Creek.
Toll Group is seeking an AM & PM Operations Manager to join our Retail and consumer. In this key role, you will execute the logistics services of the warehouse that Toll has committed to its customers through the continual monitoring of the warehouse operations. This role will actively seek, recommend, and implement improvements to ensure efficient utilisation of resources and operational efficiency whilst maintaining quality customer service and safety standards through an engaged employee base.

This role will manage the interim warehouse solution for major retail customers prior to transition to alternate automated location.

A day in the life of an Operations Manager at Toll Group:

  • Efficiently manage and deliver warehouse logistics to customers.
  • Foster Toll’s reputation for innovative logistics solutions by promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholders to achieve collaborative and productive relationships.
  • Review and report on budgets, expenditures, and financial compliance to meet customer and company expectations.
  • Implement and review people strategies to maintain a positive workplace culture and compliance.
  • Ensure safety culture meets organizational and regional standards.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Qualifications in Business Administration, Logistics Management, or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in Logistics and Warehouse Management at similar level
  • Sets high performance standards for self and others, ensuring accountability and successful completion of tasks.
  • Effectively communicates information and ideas to a diverse range of stakeholders through various mediums.
  • Enhances employee experiences by providing timely and constructive feedback, fostering skill and knowledge development. Engages and motivates team members to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Influences values, goals, and systems to create and achieve desired future states.
  • Available 24 hour oncall
